Chill Out on Your Bachelorette Party

The Bachelorette Party is one of the most fun parts of the wedding planning process. It can be a well-deserved break when you’re knee deep in vendors, seating charts and cake tastings to give you and your entire bride tribe a rejuvenating weekend. That’s one of the reasons more low-key bachelorette parties are seeing an increase in popularity. Vegas isn’t for everyone and that’s okay. Check out some of our picks for a chill bachelorette party.

#bacheloretteparty #bachbash 8 Chill Bachelorette Party Ideas for some low key kind of fun!

A Day at the Spa
This one is perfect to relax and reconnect with your besties. You could do an afternoon, a full day or even a whole weekend. Choose a spa that has amenities to enjoy while you’re not getting a massage or facial, like a pool, steam room, sauna and relaxation lounge. Make sure you include a lunch to enjoy some conversation and maybe some bubbly with your bride tribe.

Wine Country Weekend
Most of us are lucky enough to live by some sort of winery, so if a day trip is all your calendar and wallet allows, choose one close by. If you’re wanting a destination bachelorette party, try Oregon or Washington state for fantastic wineries that are a bit less crowded than many spots in Napa Valley. In the Midwest, Illinois, Michigan and Missouri all boast wineries worth taking a trip for. On the East coast, Maryland, upstate New York and Virginia all have spots you’ll enjoy!

Brew Tasting
More of a beer girl? Do a local brewery hop (no pun intended) to soak in the local flavors. If the breweries don’t serve food, choose some of your favorites to be delivered at each stop along the way. Finish the day with a stop at a gourmet ice cream shop.

A Sleepover
There are few things as nostalgic as a sleepover. Gather your besties and stay the night at your house, your maid of honor’s place or a hotel suite. Bring fun games, snacks, drinks, DIY spa activities and matching jammies to make it a fun night. Finish the weekend with a bestie brunch the next morning.

Dive Bar Pub Crawl
You don’t have to go clubbing to have a fun night out. Pick 3 or 4 dive bars where maybe you wouldn’t normally go. Grab some matching tees for super cute pictures. Wear comfy shoes so you can easily walk or Uber from bar to bar.

Try a New Activity
Always wanted to try a cooking class, a pottery class or a painting class? Now is the time! Use your bachelorette party as a time to try out a new and fun activity with your bride tribe. Pair it with a scavenger hunt to get people guessing as to what activity they’ll be doing!

An outdoor weekend with your girls is definitely a chill and non-traditional way to celebrate your upcoming nuptials. Whether you stay in cabins or tents, make sure to take in the surrounding nature with a hike. Top if off with morning coffee and yoga in the wilderness for the full experience.

On the Water
Head out for a day of fun on the water. In a kayak, inner tube, pontoon, or a yacht, soak up the sun and get your feet wet. Is there anything better than a day with your gals, a cooler of beverages, and a sweet playlist?
